LaneOne

Create a heat for each event, gender, and grade or age group you're running. Once an event has a heat, use "+ Heat" on that event to keep timing more heats of it without re-entering everything, and "Results" to see all its heats compiled into one ranked list per gender and group. Exports are organized one sheet per event, heat by heat with compiled standings underneath.

Event · Gender · Group
Heat 1
0:00.00
Ready

Set this and the clock stops itself once that many finishers are tapped in. Leave at 0 to stop it manually.

Tap the big button once to start the clock, then tap it again each time a runner finishes, times record in order automatically. Set an expected runner count above to have it stop itself on the last finisher, or end it manually any time. As each finisher comes in, type their bib number, it fills in name, gender, and grade or age group automatically if they're in the roster, otherwise type the name directly.

Event
Compiled results

Combines every heat of this event into one ranked list per gender and grade/age group, fastest time first. The Excel export includes this plus every heat's own results, all in one sheet.

Meets
1 meet

Each meet keeps its own heats and roster. Switch to a meet by tapping it, or start a new one, optionally copying over a roster from a past meet so you don't have to re-enter the same team.

A backup saves every meet, all heats, and the roster in one file, separate from the Excel exports. Restoring replaces everything currently in the app, so use it to recover from a lost or cleared device.

Permanently deletes every meet, all its heats, and the full roster, leaving one blank untitled meet behind. This cannot be undone, save a backup first if you want to keep anything.

Roster
0 runners

Add every runner once with their bib number, name, gender, and grade or age group. During timing, entering a bib fills in the rest automatically, faster and more accurate than typing full names while runners are crossing the line.
